Yes on a 30 over 360 with J heads ,holley 750 mech seconders, Hughes Mech cam, low .600 lift. ran that combo for about a month, then switched to dual 600s.
response was great , but 5/7/8 ran lean, till the 2 4bbl top was swapped

Thanx for the info. A buddy of mine has this thing sitting on a shelf and I was considering throwing it on my Sons Duster, to see how it reacts. He has the dual 4 top as well.

Use the dual top or don't do it at all...650 dp's are a dime a dozen and easy to rebuild.

If it has the mail box top don't use that top. Call edelbrock and order the STR top for the SBC. It bolts right on, even though edelbrock says it won't. You don't need 15 gallons of plenum.

Correct,or you might find a smallblock chevy edelbrock tunnelram with the smaller plenum at a swapmeet or in you local ads for even less.
