Flex Band vs Solid Bands

I have both solid and flex kickdown bands available here for my rebuild. With the lower pressures Im going to be using, does it matter? (cheetah rmvb) Seems people dont like the flex band because they are supposed to be weaker, but have they ever broke on you?

I had one break by the anchor point in a 4x4 truck. I would put in a solid band.

Solid in all my stuff. Not like it’s a pleasant task changing out a broken one.
