Drag Weekers,

We're announcing Drag Week 2018 dates, locations, and rules at PRI, Thursday at 2:30pm (Eastern, Indy time) at the media room -- you're welcome to join!

If you can't make it, we'll be live streaming the announcement via Hot Rod Magazine's Facebook page.

Interested to see where they are having it this year

Drag Week 2018 starts at Atlanta Dragway. Then on to Darlington South Carolina, Z Max Dragway, Bristol, and back to Atlanta.

That would be four new tracks to me, I gotta go.

I'm surprised that they will run at Z-max.. thought
they didnt run anything there except the big boys..
I wont be going but I might run the 3 day drag week
they are putting on this year.. they ran it last
year also

First day and last day will be the longest drives.
This will be in Ray's back yard since Darlington is his home track.
Atlanta Cragway to Darlington, about 4 hours?
Darlington to Concord NC/Z Max, 2 1/2 hours?
Z Max to Bristol, 3 1/2 hours?
Bristol to Commerce GA maybe 4 1/2 hours. All of these are going by interstate.
BUT depending on how many back roads and which Smokey mountain goat trails are chosen to drive on, it will be longer.
I would love to have something to play in this with.
