So Im looking for a 4spd, Should I spend the extra for a 18 spline or will a 23 spline hold up for a street strip 450-500 hp small block.

if it is making that at the rear tires i am going to say no for the 23 spline if you are going to race on slicks, unless you put a good adjustable clutch in it.mine is starting to twist the input shaft splines with a centerforce df setup.

Mine would be flywheel Hp, I probably would only race 2-3 times a year
