We raced the car a month earlier for the very first time on the new set up and it ran the same. the footage got lost due to a memory card error or something goofy. took it back out and she backed the up the number she ran on the debut so we are happy. leaves good off the foot brake but not so good off the trans brake. have cheap shocks on the rear so that may be the problem or tire psi. we'll try it again and get some adjustable rears on her. enjoy

Both front and rear shocks on the trans brake launch definitely need the rebound tightened up. Not bad for the 1st outing. Car looks good

Cool looks and sounds pretty good for sure. Barona is a neat little track to race at for sure. Just need to start chipping away at the chassis set up and start whittling away at that ET..

What were the 60fts, what size tyres and what pressure have you tried ?

1.433 is the best i believe. 29x10. never tried below 12lbs

that thing is wicked. thats my uncles good buddy. he was getting his new efi sorted out. it got faster every pass. i think theres more tbh. he was happy and called it a day !

its a 383 tall fill stroked to 496 with a big blower (8-71) and he just went to two fast 4 bbl throttle bodies and was tuning that in.

Starting to build a high HP race motor with a stock 383 block is like starting with a stock 440 block I hope he doesn't hurt himself or the car, another racer or spectator when that block fails
I lived all over the San Diego area 65 yrs ago as a kid, last place I lived in was in El Cajon. I haven't been down there in over 30 yrs so I'm sure I wouldn't remember any of it now
I have a real nice SO CA 1969 Dart GTS 4 speed original 383 4 speed car for sale, I don't drive it any more if you know of anyone wanting one
