Race only 727 Q?

What is the best way to plug the speedometer hole in the tail housing for a race only 727. Expansion plug maybe, but what size/part number. Or maybe a better idea?

IIRC, P34C Dorman freeze plug was what I got from Direct Connection for only $3.

Regular old soft plug. Don't recall the size but it's not some non-standard diameter.

Dorman 555-034 freeze plug. A&A sells something fancy but costs alot more.

i cleaned up the drive housing & put a blob of silicon on the hole & put it back in. same one has been living in my trans for 15 years.

i still have a few threaded caps with internal gasket that fit the gear housing threads. no need to modify anything. gut the housing, screw on the cap. done. pm me & i'll give you one, gratis.
