GREEN BEARING AND AXLE SEAL - 10/20/17 04:20 AM

Still need to use a separate axle seal or does the green bearing assembly take care of it.

Yes use the seal. The greenies are not totally sealed and oil will weep through as mentioned above and will wash out the grease that's in them possible leaving them to go dry as not enough oil is getting to them. So I would recommend using the seals.

It really depends on which version of the bearings you have, if has the press on retainer on the front of the bearing I would use the inner seal with them up
If is the one that the outer retainer is loose they haven't leak on any of my cars, race or street, with out the inner seals up shruggy

So with a seal do you expect to get some kind of leakage to wet the race/bearing? Should I add a dash of gear oil to the bearing assembly?

Just lube the lip seal. Mine never leaked.
