Thanks Doug is 10 the heat range? On my old e85 turbo setup the slant liked a 7 heat range plug gapped at .028.

Re: Plugs and plug wire recommendations needed - 10/06/17 08:23 PM

Ordered my custom length firecore wires at 11:55 got a shipping notice email at 1:01 have to like that turn around up

12 Years ago I dynoed a new set of firecore wires vs a new set of msd. Dyno operator said I was wasting my time until he seen the results got over 5 hp from nothing but the wire change. This was on a 735 hp pump gas engine.
Been my first choice ever since. beer

Re: Plugs and plug wire recommendations needed - 10/06/17 11:24 PM

I run NGK or Autolite plugs and use Firecore plug wires which are great. I have also used Taylor wires which worked good for me. Ron

Yah a pole barn/shop is next on my list of things to do. I'm over rolling around on the ground and ive out grown my working space with the equipment needed to tackle a job like this. Its probably been the worst part of this build.

I know what ya mean.. I built the place I have
now and built it the way I wanted.. it has in
floor heat which is really nice.. I also have
a mill and lathe in there along with a 10 ton
hoist.. I also have a large sand blaster and
a bunch of other things.. I sold off my tubing
bender that I used to build chassis's since I
quit building them now days... when you do build
just make it BIGGER than you want.. they are NEVER
big enough

Mike it sounds like you set your shop up about like what I had envisioned mine could be, except Id like a paint booth at one end of the building. Maybe one day I can make it a happen.πŸΈπŸΈπŸ‘Œ

I had a temp paint booth in my shop when I was
painting my Rampage.. but to me a paint booth
isnt worth the time.. you only use it once in
a great while
