SUMMIT DISCOUNT RACER DEAL..............

Recently got approved for a Summit credit card and will be getting all NEW tires ft and rear for my Dart plus other needed items and was curious how the "racers discount" I hear about works. Do I need an NHRA lic? Thankxxx...............

I can't remember if it was Summit or Jeg's I had to scan them a copy of my NHRA license. Just call and ask them, Summit may let you have one without proof of the license...?

To get a Summit "pro shop" discount, you need to send them a copy of your NHRA license. I got in 4 or 5 years ago, and they have have never asked for proof of license renewals since. It gets you about 5 - 10 % off on most items. Usually closer to 5. Once on a large order, they let me combine the 10% off coupon with the pro shop discount. Otherwise it has been one or the other. Once you are in the pro shop, the website automatically gives you the discount, and it won't allow a coupon. So if the coupon is better than the pro shop on anything, you need to phone them to use it.

Where the Pro Shop deal really shines is on shipping. Next day air is like twelve bucks.
