Harper has a Viper. Sullivan has the Daytona. Couple of Dusters and a Cuda or 2. Not sure who's legal for NHRA or why they wouldn't show up. I doubt Tony has any interest in Pro Mod.

Mopar doesn't care, and NHRA is too ignorant and arrogant to realize they are writing their own storyline to self demise.

Pro Mod for next year is getting an extra qualifying session at each race. Plus they'll be getting an extra two races to compete at. But Pro Mod isn't going to save anything. They're neat cars but the stands still empty when they come up. Plus they're going to have to improve their racing. People won't sit and watch 30 cars and only 6/8 make it down the track. They'll get more pressure to improve as more "light" is put on them. And with more races comes the need for more $$$, which will start seperating the class even more.

I remember watching pro stock in the 90's when they always had near 30cars. Guess what, it wasn't enjoyable. You had cars off by 3-4tenths and only a handful that were normally going to win. It's unfortunate the routinely get right around 16-18, but the competition is much better.

When has Pro Mod been about a factory appearing car or engine? Maybe I'm missing something.

In Pro stock yeah. I wish ford, mopar, chevy handed the guys a roof, front and rear quarters and let them do the rest-with a correct engine of course. But there isn't 20 or so Ken Blacks floating around...

My guess would be....... Just like bb wedge guys looking for blocks......

Mopar based Pro Mod bodies are harder to get and cost more $$$$.

I been looking at different bodys and really like the superbird looking ones like Craig Sullivan. But will prolly stick with metal roof and quarters.
