Broke the big number!

Broke the big number! - 06/05/17 01:07 AM

Brett's latest customer build finally broke into four digit hp with a small block NA. It's a 440 cubic inch w9 build. 15.6:1 compression and just over 850 lift. Congrats to Brett as this is a amazing feat. Cliff Lick is the proud owner of this beast and is going in a 69 Dart with a g-force 5 speed. Should be a fun ride.

The car isn't done yet, but should be this year at Cecil. It's in a bright metallic green 69 Dart with 5 speed. Think it's going to be hard on driveline parts.

Awesome numbers for sure. Would love to see what a 350-370 inch 48 degree w2 would make with the knowledge Brett has of heads and intake now.

Re: Broke the big number! - 06/06/17 04:23 AM

Thanks guys worked hard on this engine and did not think we would hit 4 digits with this one.

Little light on valve lift .854 intake .826" exhaust. (Real number at retainer )
15.6to1 CR
Could not fit headers we wanted to run on dyno so it was just a cheap set of sprint car headers 34"by2" with 3.5" collector. (I think this hurt us)

Gonna pull timing if hes on a small tire...I like the fact it didn't take 6 yrs to build because of Special parts smile
