70 b body road runner hood hinges?

hello, so with the 544 stroker 6 pack, working on it while running tired of the air grabber hood shaking down on me. I see Mancini sells replacement hood hinges, are they as good as the old or cheap? thanks just wanted some input before buying them, since I will still need to get painted to match.I have seen some fancy ones but not sure who sells those either. thank you for any input.

Is it possible just to change the springs. That might make a huge difference. I do like the way that second set looks, but have no experience with them.

Sounds like you just need new springs, not new hinges.

Thank you, but I don,t know if you can just change the springs or the hinges themselves being almost 48 years worn? Anybody know if I can just change springs?

Yes you can...just a big screwdriver or prybar takes them off.

If your hinges open and close correctly with the hood flush at the top of the fenders and the gaps correct don't mess with them...It'll take about 5 minutes to change the springs only...that's the route I'd go...

Older Dodge truck hinges are the same as B-body hinges.
