Can you tell me the advantage of crosstalk for the faster car.

The faster car gets the same "clean" tree look that the slower car gets, less of a distraction than trying to "pick out" his top bulb. Cross talk only helps if you use a delay box. If you're foot braking and are the faster car, ask to have the cross talk turned off.
