Doug,I know you started with the same column as me.I would like to use your blueprint to modify mine.Did you any of the stock shaft or is your entire shaft CM tube,,,,,wait,that don't sound right blush

The outer tube is original. It is shortened and has a plate welded on the end (like a large washer). I made the top housing that holds the bearing out of aluminum. It slides over the factory column tube and locks with a bolt. It's shown in the 2nd pic, it's painted and installed on the tube in the 3rd pic. Also the shaft bearing (generic 3/4" ball bearing) is mounted in the aluminum adapter. It is the only bearing, no bearing at the bottom of the tube. Shaft is 3/4" x .090" moly.

I wish to keep the directionals for street driving.Will have to put my thinkin cap on,,,,,,

I dont think that I have a pic but I have all the
turn signal stuff still in mine but changed to moly
about 2" below the turn signal stuff but I had to
make up a bearing set up where the shaft comes out
of the column.. I'll look for a pic

Put a toggle for the TS switch on the dash. I love my removable wheel.

I love yours too whistling The toggle thing would be a gaggle of wires.When I get the column out I will figure that out,,,,,,,,, shruggy
