Can my old reverse pattern valve body be converted to an LBA? Cant find any info in a search here.

I would like to know this as well. Wonder how many of those valvebodies they have sold? I think there is around 4 in my shop.

Do you want to slow your car down by doing this? Or do you want to make the 727 trans. safer?
This LBA valve body discussion was on this forum several years back and everyone who switch to a 727 LBA from a non LBA valve body slowed down at least .03 up to .10 ET shruggy scope
I think the key to making the trans safer is replacing the stock cast iron front drum with either a billet aluminum, steel or billet aluminum drum with a steel sleeve where the band applies up scope

Did not know a LBA setup would cause so much parasitic drag.

john cope converted my cheetah rpvb to a lba years ago,i dont know if he still offers this service being he sells his own valve bodys now.
