Since the exclusion we hoped for was not passed in last Congress, it needs to be restarted with the new current congress, ie resign/resubmit this petition:

Only 30-ish responses vs 1600+ views. I sure hope that 1550+ actually submitted the msg to their politicians and simply didn't feel the need to post a follow-up on this thread.

Don't forget to send the White House a note as well saying it should be signed if it reaches his desk. Might even get the fire lit if the prez/staff hears from enough constituents and somebody says "oh and Mitch, Paul, we hear this RPM Act is popular..."
If you know any pols personally, you know if a topic comes up enough they get interested. If they hear from you, they know you probably actually show up to vote.

This was introduced in the House as well-
"On January 6, 2017, Representative Patrick McHenry introduced the "Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports (RPM) Act" (H.R. 350). This bill excludes vehicles used solely for motorsports from regulation under the Clean Air Act"

I wasn't aware this created a loophole. This is to prevent the EPA from going through with a ban on race cars not written into the act explicitly back in 1970.
To think, we had guys right here on this board tell me their vote for such a cretin didn't hurt the hobby "because they've never gone after the car hobby." Yep, some people believe that.

Another one never hurts.
Sadly, it appears little movement on this legislation, granted they have been a little preoccupied with repeal,replace, vacations, etc.
We might need to start another petition for them to try and walk and chew gum at the same time, if it's not too much trouble.
