360 Dip Stick

360 Dip Stick - 01/23/17 03:38 PM

Who makes a dip stick for a 360 engine that works for a engine in a car? I purchased Mr. Gasket P/N 6923 because it came up when I searched for a 360 engine dipstick, but it is for a truck motor as the dipstick handle ends up being almost as high as the carburetor when installed. Don't need a fancy braided one, just a stock replacement one will work.

Summit has them... I got a chrome one for
my 416.. Mopar also sells them(you can get
it from Summit also)... the LA engines use
the same dip stick(273,318, 340, 360)... you
can see it in this pic

Went with a "Locar" braided housing in my 33. The braided housing lets you move things around a bit if necessary. Actually had to drill a hole in my A/C mount for the stick handle to stick through.
