Time for a little maintenance

Time for a little maintenance - 12/05/16 04:42 AM

All three darts are in the barn getting attention. Purple car blew the head gasket in November in Vegas so top end is apart waiting for specific gaskets. Mine is getting rear shocks and plug wires and the grey dart is getting a new stroker small block mill. Should be done to test in January at Sacramento. up

I'm afraid to tell you laugh2 If I say anything less than Santuffs i'll be beaten spank Ive read enough of these shock posts I'm scared to even ask for help sometimes nervous

I'll keep you posted after the changes If it makes a good enough gain. A couple things Al and jay make a good point on are Racepack and Converter. Until I can scratch up the extra doe I'm going to try simple stuff first.

Not everyone needs Santhuffs. Lots of good quality shocks out there. IMO best bang for the buck is Afco or Strange. They will work fine for most people. The one thing on a ladder bar car is you will want something that has stiff valving on the extension side for times when you are on a good track. We don't get a lot of that out here in the west from my experience on bracket days.
