Hi all, some will have read that we ran 10.1 @ 133 in central Australia 3 weeks back, well that was at 2500ft. Tonight we are going to our local track Perth Motorplex 2000 miles from the centre and the air should be below 500ft, maybe even zero.
I'll be taking the jets with me. Give us a

I remember those days. And then I ran 9.97. And instead of a crew that looked great like yours, mine was track personnel telling me I couldn't race anymore without a license.

10.00 or slower? This was the fastest car I ever built. This was the fastest car in my sphere of friends. I brought someone from my shop to witness my first 9 second pass. Why in the world would I want to go slower? What world are you from?

Well we got it !!! Only just be we got it.
Slip is in kilometres but works out at 109mph half and 135 at the stripe. traction was an issue and the young bloke had to peddle the other runs because it was getting a little messy.

Congrats. After owning cars that have been 11.01 and 9.02 I know how hard it is to chase the next number.

Hey Doug, this car is just a play car mate, never really built for drag racing just a fun car, we use it for cruising powerskids and special events. The 547 (my spare engine) will probably come out now that he has run it in for me and the young blokes 440 (10.90 motor) will go back in, on with some tail pipes and do some summer cruising.
All good fun !!!
