Long bars no springs, short bars springs. The long
bar has the leverage and only moves a short bit, the
short bar doesnt have the leverage...... JMO

65"-70" is the transition to me, I've got 60"ers
and I still have the springs

Well my 54"ers are sprung and are WAY short for my car. When time allows I will address this issue. Since I am only concentrating on having the car ready for Vegas and given the elevation I dont think it will be an issue there I am not real worried for now but it will be done sometime after March. The new ones will be 72-74" long and unsprung.

I went with 50 inch sprung, mainly for ease of loading. Any longer and I would have to remove them every time it goes in the trailer.
