Anyone run a World Aluminum HEMI block? Any hands on experience, pro or con?

No real problems with mine. I changed out the generic main studs for real ARP.
Also had to order correct head gaskets, as they are different. I got the correct part no. from Rich Nedball for Cometic gaskets.
My engine is fairly mild, not set on kill.
I purchased the parts years ago, so may not be the same as the currently available block.

No Eric, It has been over a year. Life happens. I closed my business and moved, built a new building at home last year, to work in.
I switched to a Holley Dominator, from the 4150 Demon carb, and I don't have it sorted out yet. Only 1 pass on the Holley. 6.02 @ 115.7 with a 1.33 60 ft.
The car runs 5.98 & 5.99 115. and change pretty consistently with the Demon carb.
I hope to do better this year. The car is ready, but it is getting hot & humid now! LOL
I feel that there is more HP in this combination, than what I am getting out of it.
We will see!
Thanks,
Mark

The New Blocks have an issue

Oil hole from the mains to lifter oil galley is not drilled threw BLIND HOLE

Your mains will never see oil
Pour mineral spirits or a fluid of your choice down the hole to be sure yours has been corrected
If its together and hasent fired yet take it apart

its about 3/16 to 1/4 short of hitting the feed hole

you can drill it by hand with a long drill

This is not isolated to a few this is ALL NEW BLOCKS Available today

Just to add to the info here, I just checked my new iron block and everything is drilled complete from the mains to the oil galley.

I have also had blocks where the oil feeds to the heads from the oil galleys were drilled, and tapped for the restrictor, but the restrictors didn't have the holes. Well, at least they installed a "plug" so you didn't over oil the top end - LOL.
