Damper rebuilding - 03/09/16 04:23 PM

Anyone ever use www.damperdudes.net to have their crank dampers rebuilt. I'm in the middle of rebuilding a Buick 225 V-6 and the damper is in poor condition. Can't find a new one. Thanks, John

I worked with Damper Dudes about ten years ago to make a custom damper that I wanted and they did an excellent job for me and as I recall, the cost wasn't too bad.

I used one of their Slant dampers for my spray motor. Never an issue, timing mark is still in the right place after going over 7000 a couple times. boogie

Thanks all. I will probably use them.

That engine really needs a damper, too!
