The driver "back in the day" was a Motech instructor,who specialized in automatic transmissions,John Tedder,no relation to Darren Tedder! I already asked him a while back. Have fond memories of that car,back in the mid-70's at Milan! My friend Rick,has a Kendall Oil post card of the Barracuda,in the original early-70's paint scheme,not the white and multi-colored scheme,as depicted in the Englishtown shot. RandyB

..I think Chuck Commella owned it in the late 80's/early90's...I know it was at his shop at one point during that time..

I think he owned it at one point. In the MP Hemi engines book, there are a few pictures of the car and Al is standing next to it in one pic. He lives(lived?) about an hour from Comella, so maybe he was involved somehow too.

Man, what a flashback! I went to school in Warren, Mi. John Tedder would bring the car to our auto shop class and recruit for Motech. We all couldn't wait for that Hemi to fire up!

I went to Motech back in 82 and knew John personally since my grandfather was the head distributor of Kendall Oil back in the 50's-80 when he retired. But I have no pics except on slides. Nice guy and a cool car for sure

Al lives about 20 mins from me ( although I havent talked to him in years) I cant remember if he drove the car for someone or if he owned it as well??? I got(still have) a set of heads from him that came off one of the Motec motors.

An investment broker friend of Al's bought it and Al drove it.The broker got in some trouble and sold the car to Al.We did motor work for Al during that time.Not sure when he sold the car.Scott
