The combo should be about 650 HP, with a single Dominator on a 512. Looking for low tens.
Who do you prefer Aeromotive or Barry Grant and why? I need everything between the fuel cell and the carb.
Any vendors on the site that could help me out?

Aeromotive. Great to deal with and awesome products. I have their little street rod pump w/ a simple -8 line dead head system feeding my hemi running mid 9s w/ no trouble.
I've had too many friends have problems w/ BG fuel pumps. CHIP

Look on E-bay and see which is for sale in quantiy
and DONT buy it, they are for sale for a reason.
The one you will see there is Barry Grant... JMO
I run a pair of Holley blacks(150s), might be able
to run 1 but I run the pair to make sure with a
return

ive got 2 aeromotive street rod pumps runnin 2 1050 dominators and a 275 hp fogger system !! fuel volume or pressure is never a problem !!they have been on there for about 6 yrs lots of street miles ! never had them burn up , also a return style regulator !!! is a must

Aeromotive, Magnafuel, product engineering, all good. If you want the best Weldon.
As far as a B grant,
If you street drive make sure either the pump has a bypass back to the tank, or i perfer running a bypass style regulator all the way back to the tank.

I had Barry Grant once. Two of them 400 systems, one is still in the trailer. May be the best product on the market, I will never know, I would not run it if they paid me. there service to me on a scale of 1 to 10 is a minus10. Magna fuel, no problems. my two cents!

run a BG 280 pump and no issues i have a bypass reg back to the tank for street driving

Here is my issue with BG. I have used his products with some luck. They always want to develop leaks around that shaft seal. They won't sell replacement parts, they make you send it back for rebuild, charge alot, and take there sweet lil time with it. They have been making an effort lately to curb their customer service, but i won't go back. There is no reason to when people sell better products for the same money. What about BG's stuff sets them above the others? In my opinion nothing, and i have never had a leak or failure with any of the other companies i have mentioned.

I am one of those that give BG a bad rap. I have had nothing but trouble, with every BG pump I have ever owned. Every one, I repeat, every one, I have ever had any dealings with, leaked fuel. They won't sell you the part to fix it and if you send it in, they might keep it 3 months. I have lost count of the leaking BG pumps, that I have replaced with Magna-Fuel pumps. To my knowledge, not one of those has ever developed a leak. My own Magna-Fuel 500 had been sitting up for 5 years. Last year, when the BG started leaking on the drag radial car, we put the Magna-Fuel on it. Still on there. Works fine and does NOT leak.

I have nothing but good things to say about my Aeromotive A2000 pump. I ran a Paxton which is the same thing for years on the street and racing as they were a contingency sponsor. I bought an Aeromotive after Paxton quit paying and Aeromotive did. Worked great. After several years it finally started leaking. I bought a new one and sent the old one back. They fixed it for free so I have a spare I will probably never need.

I really like my Precision Engineering pump and Regulator. I do run alcohol so there is some precautions you have to take if system is down over winter or any long period of time. Also I tend to replace O rings etc every so often. The luxury of alcohol!

There is a thread on this very subject right now on YB. The list of people who have had problems with BG stuff is huge. Now I am not saying that Product Engineering and Magna-Fuel do not ever have issues, but you very seldom here about it, where as BG complaints are VERY frequent. That, coupled with my own experiences, would lead me to NEVER own another BG product again, nor want to have any dealings with them.
At one time, I had two BG-400s on my car, one for the spray and one for the motor, along with a BG 4 port reg for the carb and a couple two port regs for the nitrous systems. I had the pumps repaired or replaced, more times than I could count. Luckily at the time, they had a support rig at the races and they generally just swapped units with me, so I was not out a lot of money in shipping and repair costs. The final straw was at a Bristol KOS race. We hurt the motor for no apparent reason. After checking everything over, one time you turned the pump on, it had 25psi, the next time it had 10psi. Everytime you cycled the switch, the pressure was different. After that, I GAVE AWAY all the BG stuff. Thousands of dollars worth of parts. No way would I have sold that junk to anybody. So I gave it away with a disclaimer that "it should go in the trash". Went to Magna-Fuel and never looked back. That was about 12 years ago and have never had an issue with any Magna-Fuel product I have owned, sold to someone else, or had any dealings with period.
That is my little story and experience with BG products.

try magna fuel great product smart people to deal with same pump on my car for 4 years no problem run one 500 to run both carbs and nit. never had a problem with it running lean , their in colorado springs
