Ultimate or ATI.

Turbo-Action.

ATI will be fit and function, but likely be slower.

No direct experience with other brands.

We use Turbo Action and have since 1977. Excellent quality.

Total Crap Inside! I would not even dream of using them.

I have had very good luck with TA, and now with ATI.....ATI nailed it on my 605, and that was a tough one.

I'm very happy with my Lupo - Dynamic. Reasonably priced and has been reliable and performed well for me.

I always use the B&M round flexplate, they seem to hold up really well.

As far as converters, ATI always nails my combo and work awesome.

Whatever happened there, its not the flexplates fault. Obviously something else caused that sort of failure. I once ruined a flexplate similarly, when the converter ballooned and forced the flexplate bolts into the pan rail.

All the bolts were still in place, and 1 of the 4 was still torqued to spec....the others were still tight but not to spec obviously because of the fracturing.

The car has been driven at road speeds for three weeks making a slight knocking noise from the bell housing since I last raced it.

I suspected a loose crank bolt or several ...but they were all tight.

Motor is internally balanced..and the converter was working fine.

So not really sure what else it could be...but theres a reason the ATI plate is 1mm thicker and has extra 'bulk' in the exact points this mp plate broke.......
