Another outing

People were amazed to see me, two races in a row Everything was smooth sailing, we definitely have our Wisconsin routine chops in order. Saturday, got bumped out by .005 mov in the 2nd round....could have used a Sneaky Pete.. Sunday, made it to the semi's in the Gambler's. Worst light of the weekend (.021), plus worst 60' = I lose. Funny thing, the guy who beat me that round, is 10 years older than me. 62 in the spectator lane, 72 in the tower lane! I don't think that's very common.

Last winter, I started studying some sports psychology, acepting that I have fear of success syndrome. I started breaking down the racing process, into external, internal, wide and narrow focus. I have never been on the tree and the stripe, as well as I was these two 2015 outings. .005 to .021, in 10 hits. It definitely has helped. I encourage others to give it a shot.

Next year should be a blast. I hope to travel to TBoomer land, and maybe, make 1 Mopar specific event.

Those are some impressive RT's. I usually rank in the top 3 when it comes to "who is the oldest driver" at any given meet. The tech-in guys must have a standing bet, cause they flock to me in the tech line. Glad things are working out for you

Thanks everybody, for the kind words. Ted, it was 10.45-50's. That's all the irrigation motor has in her. I have a fuel system issue, as it should have been in the 10.20-30 range, given the corrected air density. I solved the wheelstand issue, with Afco's on all 4 corners. Again, thanks all!

Great! I hope to have a Magnafuel 275 or 300 on mine by next spring. Got the rear glass bumper on and still have to finish the front one. Painted them silver but orange crossed my mind! May also have to rebuild the steering box but I can only do so much at a time. Still think we can get a 9.90-9.95 out of it. You take care!!

It was good to meet you Leigh. I made the semis in King at previous outing, and won the last chance eliminator last weekend. Can't wait to see what the track looks like next year.
