Bear with me on the video of a video. It's crazy how hard it hits the tire. And that's a radial tire too.

Almost looks like the axle is deflecting quite a bit.

I does look like something is flexing under there. It would be a good idea to get a camera under the car to see what it is.....

I've watched it and don't see what you're seeing. I wonder of some of it is my unsteady hands taking a video of my phone with my tablet.

But it's definitely possible.

Do you have video from other side of car?

The rear end deflects forward before the car moves. If you have rubber spring eye bushings or rubber mounts anywhere else there prolly wore out. Need to fix that soon.

Love the car

I do not. It does have factory oval eye bushings up front, so that's probably it. Going to switch to monos over winter

Re: More slow-mo shock videos - 09/22/15 02:26 PM

After watching the video several times it looks like it's wadding the tire up and collapsing the front sidewall. Like the tire is stuck to the track and the wheel is trying to move forward in the tire.

How much air pressure?

I agree, looks like something is flexing or moving that shouldn't be. Looks like the shocks need to be stiffer on extension...hard hit.

17lbs here. It wads up pretty hard. I'm going to try to add a couple psi next time out.

I would bet that the oval bushings are the problem then. They were meant for a comfy ride. The monos will definitely make the car more consistent just because the elimination of the bushings.
