Which Rods for Blower Motor?? - 08/10/15 07:58 PM
I'm planning to convert my 413ci smallblock to a blower engine over the winter. Will be a 6.71 blower with bugcatcher on alcohol. I calculate I will only need between 950 and 1000hp to meet my goals.
I need to select my rods before I order pistons and I wanted to see what the forum recommended. I currently have two sets of rods:
* Used set of Lentz nascar rods that are 6.2 long, 2" crank and .927 pin.
* I also have a new set of Childs & Albert aluminum rods which are 6.0625 long, 2" crank and .927 pin.
Which set would you plan to use?? Thanks, Max
