Well....I got tired of looking at my yellow chopper sittin in the shop collecting dust and had an offer I couldnt refuse.....We're think about pullin my Darts big block and stuffin it in this Fiat then puttin the 8-71 BBC in my Dart.....let the vomits begin !!!! ....My daughter wants an open wheel car but I'm not too keen to unleash her with low 7 sec passes on a 112" wb...LOL

Thanks...we're heavy into the nostalgia racing and other than the wheels it dont get much more old school cool than this....4 port Hilborn Vertex Mag ...I might run a lil CH3NO2 in it as well.

Dont remind me...I finally went to replce the starter that let me down at last years race....only to find the nose cone broke off and about 8 teeth gone off the torque converter.Hopefully I'll get it to the trans shop tom. I'm leaving on a cruise and am running out of time.

Well Jimmy....your still not out of the question on yours unless you offed it already.I'm still interested just crunched on time..I really need to get back to the track in a serious way..and I'm looking at some fat head BAE's also....but hey in this economy at least we're busy.

Who cares what motor is in it, it's bad to the bone. I love Hemis for no reasonable reason, but hating a particular brand is like saying you'd never touch a brunette, because you prefer blonds. When it comes down to it, I'd run a briggs if it meant the difference between getting to play, or having to stay on the porch.

I'm not entered yet - I'm trying to find some 73&Up A body disc spindles. I put coil overs on it and my nose is on the ground (I already had 2" drop spindles). The new bullet is in and ready to go though.

Genuinely cool car. That said, you do know that when you pull the valve cover, those valves on that thing just point about everywhere, don't you? Don't say we didn't warn you.

...ya....and it took me 15 minutes to find the dist. in that pic......LOL....but good news is...I know the firing order at least.

But that's the upside to the C-word motors- the distributor is in the right location. Just like a small block...
