Are the balancers they sell certified to run in the 10's by NHRA standards? Also what proof do you need @ the track that shows that your balancer complies?

You can get that same balancer in black from brandon @ 440source, Thats the one I bought last year, but no SFI Lable! no lable on there chrome one either from the pics i see on there web sight.

It won't pass tech without a label.
Might want to get a hold of Brandon if the one you have is supposed to be SFI approved.

I bought a chrome one a few years ago,the sfi info was stamed int the surface similar to the timing marks.I would have assumed that the black one would be the same,but??
The stamping is hard to see,but the required info was there(on mine anyway).

My label came off also and the etched/stamped SFI numbers were deemed legal.The tech inspector did have me bump the engine over to see the stampings.

Ok after closer inspection my balancer does have the SFI info etched into it, Whew Didnt need to spend more money, Thanks for the Info as where to look as it was etched right on the side by the Degree lines. Im one part closer to the 10S
