Finally landed in Vegas and it`s a whole different world for sure. Everywhere I go no joke people are takin pics and video of Thumper and the cops just look the other way which is great for MANY reasons LOL! Already have carb and car work and a friend who jams with Danny's band from Kount Kustoms has arranged a meeting with Danny and a "test drive" to see if I can get that head band to move off of his head. Danny (the Count) wears a headband to cover his ever increasing forehead, due to his continually receding hairline. As far as I know, he's never been seen on TV without it, so inquiring minds want to see what he looks like without the headband.

Thankxxx guys really appreciated and I live on the west end which is real nice and quiet but not for long lol! From what I'm told, there's a few crooked shops w/not so sharp HONEST mechanics so I WILL kick ass here real soon then hit up some street racers for some "late night" action and go from there. Ya, the count wears a head band I just joke about that stuff and that's why I shave my head cos long hair and a receding hairline didn't work for me either. There's even a So Cal Speed Shop and the guy there tells me there's no carb gurus here so maybe I can get a bit of work and learn more along the way. Peace.......

Glad you are going to give Vegas a go. The west side is my preference we are in the far northwest side ourselves. Very true there are a lot of less than scrupulous automotive shops in town for sure.

As for the SoCal speed shop, well firs off plenty of smart carb guys around, but not surprised they don't know that. It is a great place for tourists. Kinda like the count, great for tourists but plenty of other/better shops, collections, tattoo shops and bars in town, but again the tourists love it.

As for a real speedshop we have one of those as well, Figspeed owned by one of the most knowledgeable guys around. He also supports most every large drag race, or offroad race on the west coast with a support rig and mobile parts shop. Well worth a trip for you to Henderson to check him out.

Give me a shout sometime next week. Assume you are looking for work as a mechanic. Should be easy enough.

Go meet Joe Torres at Sosa Metalworks. I didnt want to leave. Real car guys. They build bikes and cars. Awesome shop. Its right behind Cheetas strip joint

Hope Los Wages treats you well..... we LOVE going up that way, but glad we don't live there. We don't do "the strip" but every 10 years or so, but the eateries and shopping in general is out of this world! Hopefully you'll find your "niche" in the city of sin, who often chews up and spits out the lesser being.

Thankxx again guys and this is definitely a culture shock but I'll give it my best and have no desire to work for anyone as I havn't in years so it's me against sin city I guess and time will tell. I'd like to meet some of these guys Al and any others who are concerned with quality and integrity instead of taking your money and forgetting who you are and I've had the same customers for 20+ years because of that.
