I know of guys running them on the street(limited
mileage), but it was just a external pump but you
are talking a holding tank on your... right. Either
way its just the belt thats the issue

yup 8qt holding tank. also could you use a hv pump with bottom feed milodon pump cover and pickup for the suction side to the dry sump tank and feed the engine with a single stage belt driven pressure stage?

I dont see why not, but I wouldnt see why you would,
most of the time you are trying to shorten the pan
or get rid of the pick up to go to that style of a system

Not sure I can fill in the blanks here, are belts that unreliable or what for street use?

Its just the posibility(small in my mind) that something
will cut/break the belt. A sheild would do wonders
