Anyone give me the bolt size?.........Callies 8 bolt crank , seems the stock bolts i got are too small , just ready to drop the motor back in & realised the bolts are different than a 6 bolt crank.

The six bolt crank is smaller bolts..The eight bolt hemi bolts is what you need..Jegs has mopar and ARP sets..They are not cheap...$40-50 bucks..

The 6-bolt cranks use 7/16, the 8-bolt cranks use 1/2-20

Be careful, get the thin head Mopar bolts if you can.Standard bolts and even ARPs can hit on the converter and will cause it to keep loosening up and also wear into the converter face.

I have heard of racers useing regular grade 8 bolts and grinding the heads down to clear the back of the converter, they do need to be thinner than the stock thickness on regular bolts how much I don't know
