SLick balancing question

Thanks guys; bubble is what I was thinking; just wanted to hear it from the guys in the know.....

Static on a spin balancer. I've had good luck with the little Snap On electronic machine that you spin up by hand. Stick on weights on the back, of course. Re-balance after maybe 50 or 60 runs. Makes a difference and it doesn't cost anything but some time.

I have no problem with a bubble machine. Used them for years.

I use a Hunter digital unit it also gives accurate tire circumference measurement and I can tell it where I want the weights and what kind I want to use. It's nice to work at a car dealership that buys good equipment

I bought a new set of M/T 14x32x15 last year on the way to MATS in Reno at Summits store, I ended up having the Goodyear wholesale wharehouse in Las Vegas mount and balane them. I had planned on buying tubes from the one of tire trucks at the race but I ended up doing the tire swap in the middle of the week instaed of waiting for the MATS race after the Spring Fling four day race. Bottom line is Goodyear told me that they hadn't stocked or sold tubes or inner liners in over 4 yrs I had to have them mounted tubeless, the guy doing the work told me he balanced them at 5.0 lbs of pressure and said that the more pressure you ran in thier brand drag slicks had a influnence on the balancing I bubble balance all the tires I can do myself in my shop I had one new old set of 12.25x31.25x15W #6 Firestones about shake my teeth out at around 75 MPH and agian around 119 MPH before balancing them, I balance all my slicks now

Bubble balanced and make sure your slicks have very similar roll outs.

Please enlighten me on "roll-outs".

So why are you not supposed to dynamic balance them? Mine are dynamic balanced with the sticky weights on the inside. Been to 120 with no noticeable shake
