A acceptable ring end gap 4 a (say 150 shot of the juice)on say a 500 cu.big block with a 693/703 roller,440-1,Ross pistons,eagle rods etc. Thax...

Yes check with the ring makers they will have suggested ring end gaps.

Ring gap is real easy to get to tight, especilly on NOS I would set the top ring around .025 or larger, (your starting now with 150 HP NOS but what will it see total )and set the second ring at .028 or larger also. If you use these numbers DO NOT excede 200 HP on NOS system
