Looking for some Dart pics and info... - 01/10/15 08:56 AM

Can you guys post up some pics of 67 and later Darts and INCLUDE THE TIRE SIZE as well? Trying to decide what look I want to go for as I begin setting up the chassis and ordering tires for my 69. Side shots are preffered. Thanks guys!

11secdart: 29x11.50 Q.T.P.s on a 10 in. rim with 4 1/2 in. back spacing, I have had 29.5x11.50 slicks fit with no problem, mini-tubbed to frame rail and front of wheel opening on quarter is cut but massaged to look stock.

15"x7" Weld Wheels (4.5" backspacing), 26"x9" Hoosier slick, all stock locations for springs, no cutting of the wheel opening lip or the quarter at the rocker area for fitment. The Dart is a 340 and runs 11.30-11.40 with 1.50 best 60ft.

Thanks for posting up guys! I had brought home some assorted rollers for mock up this weekend and was kind of surprised to see how much of the tire gets tucked in the upper wheelwell. I'm used to seeing more sidewall on my other cars and it got me second guessing ride height vs tire size vs appearance and so on. After some thought I think I'm going to shoot for the 30 x 13.50's. It'll be a snug fit but I think it will the way to go for now. Thanks for the pics guys. I'll keep you posted as I make progress.

BTW, Great looking rides, I look forward to a day when mine will be so presentable. Lol.

Thanks, I never got around to putting the nitrous back on the car after going to a bigger motor but here's a pic with the chute.

has your car been Minni tubed? that's the size tire i want to go to latter on. also is that with a stock width rear end?

Just a standard mini tub, springs centered on the rail, factory tubs. It is a tight fit though, couldn't go any bigger.
