The 1901 Street Demon is at $284 shipped.

Advance Auto Parts has them for $259 shipped. I just hope they aren't shipped out of the Ferguson MO location.

It's just my luck. I just bought a new Gen III Dominator. I sure am glad I got to use the 10% discount code from a MOPARTS member, or I would be even more disappointed.
Oh well...........

Is that the -2 or later -3 version? I have read that the -2 calibrations were not very good. Holley tech confirmed it.

Most say the older Dommy`s were more consistent in the t-slot locations more than anything making the idle/transition easier to tune on a street car and I`ve personally done 2 hp Dommy`s that had way too much t-slot exposed makin em fun to run right down low.

I noticed that too!

FWIW the Gen 3 is longer than the previous models, and uses O ringed inlet fittings rather than the usual Holley 7/8 20 thread fittings. It requires modifying or replacing fuel lines, that fit original 4500 carbs. This added unexpected $ to the cost.
I sure hope it was worth it over my previous 4150 Race Demon!?!?!

Thanks,
I am sure you could get it dialed in with a "Thumperization" !
Unfortunately, we will not be able to baseline it until next Spring. Our season is over.
We have not had a good pass ( no driver errors) with it yet, but the 6o ft. was slightly better.
