Dart Vader RPM Magazine needs your vote - 10/20/14 08:04 PM

RPM magazine has posted up a 2014 Top Gun shootout of the top 32 cars for 2014. Dart Vader is in the hunt and is behind in the first bracket Im in trouble Vader being the only Mopar. Just go on RPM magazine's website and click on the 2014 Top Gun shootout icon and select your favorite cars from each bracket. Voting ends tomorrow not sure what time so every vote counts tonight. If you click on a car and it comes up error just click ok and go on to the next until you have gone thru all 16 brackets then hit refresh and it will show the results. Mopar to the front.

Ya there are some full blown race cars in the mix. The cool thing is 4 out the 32 cars or trucks are from Hampton, Va and the 5th is from Va as well. Dart Vader is street driven 600 mi so far, the 62 Chevy c10 106mm turbo heavily driven, Tim Harper's 55 BBC F2 3600lb 8.0's in the 1/4 driven daily, Ricky Ashworth's 57 Chevy pickup BBC 632ci nitrous been 8.50's and also a daily driver and Christmas parades lol.

Thanks for the support but it wouldn't have mattered the guy I was up against went around the rules and mass voted on me. I was ahead by 75 votes at 3:00 pm then all of a sudden the voting flood gates opened. He was averaging 100 votes every 15 minutes. In 2 hours he went fro 185 votes to 678 votes. If you look at the judging it was close on all except on 2 cars the one I was against and a 1938 Chevy coupe that took off in the voting. The coupe went from being down by a bunch to ahead in a matter of an hour. All the other matches were really close. Massive vote hoarding from just a few IP addresses. RPM noticed what was going on and put a block one it by allowing1 vote per IP address. All votes still count so Dart Vader got the short end of the stick. With the voting being fair no neither one won't make it past the next round. Thanks again for everyone's support.
