GEN III Hemi assembly drive setup??? - 10/20/14 04:07 PM

Post Pics of the Front of your GEN III Hemi inside the engine compartment, trying to get idea of what assembly drive setup to go with, and to run a motor plate or not. I will only be using alternator (no ac or Power steering needed) but the car is being setup with a turbo so the motor plate will be harder to get the piping around, but defiantly achievable.

as this is something I am interested in as well!

I remember reading that truck timing covers suuposedly work better in the older chassis' but I can't recall why

Car timing covers put the alt down low, the truck covers put them up pretty high. Depending on the chassis, at least B/E/A, the car cover is more sought-after.

You can see where the truck cover sticks things on this one out of an '06 Ram

wow, the way the alternator is on this one it will not work for me at all with the forward exhaust to the turbo,

Mines just factory - but running a Jeep Alt for extra clearance, and electric fans on an alloy radiator.

The PS delete pulley is from Street and Performance - aka Hot Rod Lane.

Thanx!! Meziere Remote Mount Water Pump, mounted on a bracket that goes from the k-frame to the core support, under the radiator. I made the motor plate.
