TR question - 10/15/14 01:23 AM

I was surprised when checking my SB TR top, there is nearly .200" overall height difference measuring at the carb centers. Because the difference in mainly in the plenum below the carbs, it calculates out to be approx 4.8 cu in or 80cc difference. Seems odd that is OK. The reason for this incline is? Is it worth trying to reduce/correct by milling, or adding internal volume reducers?

That sets the float bowls level due to the engine angle

I left out this is an EFI set-up, but what happens to level when the green light comes on?

PS Nice to have you back

Nothing happens to the angle with injection... with
a carb, this is when jet extensions come into play
