Once you get used to tuning with a Tunnel-Ram(which is very simple) you will never go back to a single carb. intake.Purchasing a Tunnel-Ram will be $$$ well spent its worth the extra $$$ just for the looks if nothing else.

PS I would not answer your question if I did not run them myself!

The motor is a 572.
mega block
Bryant crank
572-13 heads /jesel rocker
wiseco pistons / Bill Miller rods
820 lift rolller / jesel belt
Carbs are 1050 domantors

Then your looking for a 440-14-15 manifold.

I saw thirty HP using a Indy cast RB M.W. port size tunnel ram intake with two 1050 Dominators over using Indys 440-3 intake with a single 1050 Dominator I was hoping for more

Cab Burge: Was that on a 572 motor with the 572-13 heads???

No, it was a 526 C.I.(4.380 x 4.375 stroke) 440 block with a set of 440-1 CNC ported by MCH that flowed 370 CFM at .600 and up on the lift That motor with a set of Indy SR M.W. ports and the same carb. and intake made 50 HP less than with the 440-1 CNC ported with no other changes. I swapped both sets of those heads on my 518 C.I. pump gas motor on the same dyno two weeks apart and it made 50 HP more with the 440-1 heads The extra 1050 didn't make as much difference as I expected It did what it did BTW, I have seen several high dollar race BB Chevy tunnl ram motors that have a different jet size in each barrel of both carbs Maybe I should use the EGT readings, going fatter first, to jet instead of changing all eight jets at once Maybe that will be one of my next dyno testing test

big block chevys have good ports and bad ports ,that is why its stagerd jetting in them

a 1050 went 9.91

two 750 on a tunnelram went 9.85

have not tried out the two 1050 yet

do you think it might be overkill ?

Every BB wedge motor I have raced at the track like more air It didn't matter if it was carb size, camshaft, headers or better mainfold and better carbs I would try the bigger carbs. as long as the fuel suystem will keep up BTW, did you ever try that Weiand six pak intake agianst a stock six pak intake? If so how much difference was there
