Safe Neutral - Neutral position after 3rd that exhausts ALL bands and clutches.. EXCEPT the direct drum. Keeps rotating components at same rpm as engine and prevents over speed of direct drum. More complex to build but SAFER.
Griner only sells a "SAFE" neutral, P/N 1222G25B. TranzAct sells a "CLEAN" neutral as well as some other companies.
