Thanks a TON.. gotta get the trans back.. after that
I should have it back together in a day or two.. gotta
do a little more wiring on the injection but that
wont take long... just gotta teach the injection...
but I sure appreciate the offer.. again.. thanks a TON..
I cant really finish up the wiring because the engine
and trans are out...if I lift the car on the hoist
without it.. it'll tip off it

Sorry Mike, I thought you were still dealing with your wife's mom's deal. I'll slap the valve body back in it tomorrow. Plan on getting it Saturday morning.

did save my bow...so I sure feel old the last week...

The trans was messing up so I pulled the engine and
trans plus I'm installing injection on it.. its
much easier to get the harness through the firewall
without the engine in it.. it is pretty close in behind
the engine to the firewall... when I get the engine
and trans back in I need to mount the new fuel pump
and filters and finish up the wiring..... so yeah
I am trying to wear out the bolts.......
by the way... Happy B-Day

Got the car hauler fixed today.. had a short in the
brake lights and wouldnt turn on the trailer brakes..
thats not a good thing when your running 24K#.. that
happened last year on drag week and I scabbed it together
to get home.... now I'll pick up the trans in the
morning and start on the Rampage... the hauler still
need a good bath

Its coming along but no.. it wont be there... I still
havent even fired it up yet... the engine/trans is
in and I'm still doing some wiring and fuel work...
I wont even show up there... that would take away from
me working on it... once I do get it fired up I want
to start teaching it... some things took longer than
I expected... plus I messed up and left a elec plug
over at Scott's house for the trans( the OD connector)
so I need to get that yet... just more stuff to do

Glad to hear it's coming along but would have been nice to see it run down the track @ Norwalk Things always take longer than expected, that's just part of the hobby Nostalga Drags at Milan in 2 weeks....maybe there?

Dont know... I dont know yet if I'll have to come up
with a race program over the street program on the
injection... pretty much like Eddie Miller on DW..
he had the street tune up yesterday and MIGHT have
been a bit slower... I have to look at all this after
it learns the street... It might just try to keep
things at stoichiometric and thats sure not the quickest
on the track

I am not familiar with the Holley ECU, however, IIRC some of the kits allow you to target a certain AFR at WOT, so you could dial part throttle to be stoich and WOT to be 12.5 for example. I imagine that would take a decent amount of WOT time to learn though...

Good luck with it! I look forward to seeing it out there running. Saw the car Downriver or Telegraph, can't recall which...
