Looking real promising here as I didn't go to the Ten Grand National at Norwalk this weekend. Already sent in my Halloween Classic entry at Norwalk and didn't really want to make 3 trips out there in 7 weeks. I hopefully will be in Super Pro and my Son in Pro. I've gone a couple of 10.04-10.05's so I may try the 10'0 class too if I find a few hundred's

Lord Willing, we will be their! Just got the tranny fixed that Greenwood Chrysler failed to repair properly, again! caught it soon enough, and saved me a ton of$$$. So the Dodge 3500 w/trailer and race car will be hopefully going across the Ohio Turnpike next Wednesday!

was nice enough to throw my trans together but I havent
got it back yet.. the wifes mom passed away and I didnt
have time to put it back together so Scott was gonna
do it but I need time to get the trans and engine
back in and get some time on the new injection..
would like to do that before I went down to Norwalk..
I'm just running out of time

I have arranged with Summit Motorsports Park to have the Racer Gate available for around the Clock Starting Thursday Night thru the Weekend!!!
Thats right Racers---- If you were to slow and forgot to pre register or you will not be arriving until later Thursday you will have access to the facility and you will be able to pay at the gate!

Car is still apart but the engine is together and just buttoned up the tranny last night. Now if everything goes back together and the drive to the track feels good I might be running sportsman
And if that doesn't work out I'll just drive my Toyota up and drink beer all weekend

Josh,
I will be bringing car, trailer and truck over on Thursday but family bring a RV cannot be there until after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. When I called the track, they said gates close at 6:00 p.m. unless it is just a passenger car and you already have wrist bands. Can you confirm that if my family brings the RV over at say 10:00 p.m. on Thursday that they will be able to pay and get in on Thursday night? Thanks.

Just something to think about, if 10.0 and Pro run right after each other you're gonna have a lot of cars rushing to get back up to Pro for elims...I would bury 10.0 where it affects the least amount of cars scheduled near it.

Thinking about making the 6 hour trip. Just not sure if I want to make the drive myself from Ontario
Can I sleep in my pickup truck at the track??
Can I run my 440 powered Henry J in the 10.0 class or Pro??
If I enter the 10.0 class and realize I can't run close enough can I switch to Pro??
How much to race both days??

How much to race both days?? 150 for the entire weekend and $40 for 10.0 and there will also be a gamblers race on Friday night. $40.00 as well

No. It doesn't have headers.
But make sure you get charged the proper amount for those headers.

I plan on being there with 2 cars racing.
Also I wonder if anyone is coming from PA that could haul a 70 coronet hood back to PA and the buyer will get it from them. He will help with gas money I am sure. He lives in Waynesboro PA.
Anyone know of someone coming to Norwalk that may be able to help us out ?????

That pic is down right sweet!! The sweet black paint & red headlights pointing at the sky are perfect!!! very nice!!! The video you sent me was very nice. You are right tame her down a little & go kick some butt this weekend.

I had planned on dragging the Charger out for this race. In fact it's still loaded in the trailer with everything I need for the weekend.
However, I'm just too busy with work to get away, even for a day.
Going to miss seeing all my friends and meeting new ones, hope everyone has a fun & safe race weekend.

I have arranged with Summit Motorsports Park to have the Racer Gate available for around the Clock Starting Thursday Night thru the Weekend!!!
Thats right Racers---- If you were to slow and forgot to pre register or you will not be arriving until later Thursday you will have access to the facility and you will be able to pay at the gate!

Josh, is there a "Former" Racer gate?! I am planning to come over Friday night from 3 hours away and tent camp on the spectator side. How late will the spectator gate be open on Friday night, or should I go to the (current) racer gate?

Anyone who shows up tomorrow who is not pre registered will he covered in tar and feathered.... Or he can pay for admission and enter the track. His choice.

That's the gate on State Route 601 for those not familiar. They got a LOT of rain yesterday.

Sitting in line here at Norwalk i was struck by how many enclosed trailers, beautiful motor homes and high dollar trucks there are.
