Racing in or near Orlando mid september?

I will be in Orlando from Sep 12-19 is there anything race wise going on the 13th or 14th? Will have some time to wander around this that weekend and wondering if any racing or car related stuff going on?

Orlando dragway is having there final points race of the year on the 13th, that's all I see.

Optima Ultimate Street Car challenge multi format competition is 20th & 21 at Sebring, a 100 miles farther south of Orlando. "Weeks Air Museum" is 40? miles west on I-4, high dollar large well displayed collection of vintage aircraft, want to kill a couple of hours finding odd hard to find hardware, visit "Skycraft Surplus" just off I-4 at the Fairbanks exit, near downtown, so far anybody who has gone liked it, but plan on at least 2 hrs.

Edit fellow member a few threads below has informed us the "weeks" air park closed in April, Sad, it was quite a display

Garlits museum is on the list.

Now what about GOOD food and adult beverages in the are. Will be staying in the downtown area.

If you are staying downtown Church St Station has some great places but really all around the Orange Ave area are some real good places to eat and drink. My warning to you though is don't venture to far from that area, especially at night and be very careful about keeping up with what's going on around you.

BTW are you staying at the Radisson?

Old Town Saturday evening car cruise some nice cars but you can spot a weirdo or two.
also from a post above the Fantasy of Flight which is Kermit Week's place closed to the public a few months ago.
