Indy intake 440-25 cross ram

What I have is a 1964 b body with a 505 in it with Indy maxwedge ez heads and single 4150 intake 4200 stall
.The cam is 600 lift I & E with duration @266 rear gear is 4.30 tire is 29.5 x 10.5 . My question is the intake too big for this setup and what rpm are they design for? Thanks jim

It will work. I have one with less head and came and it has gone 10:teens@130.

I ran my 540 with Indy EZ heads, .630 lift 230@.50, 3.91 gear and a 28.5x 9 Hoosier.
Shift at 6000 it went 10.15@134.

You would probably make more power with a good single 4500 Dominator intake but the cross ram will work for you if that is what you want.

I have a 499, w/Bulldog heads that flow pretty descent, 10-1 compression, .large cam for the street, over .675...using the Indy 440-3X intake, 1050, 4500 dominator...Doug's fender well exits(2" primaries)....93 pump gas....just south of 700hp rich...needs a larger carb for that size intake or a smaller intake....but should make 735-750 on a good tune and over 700 lbs. ft.
