Apparently there`s a vid and I`ll let ya know guys. Yes it`s illegal and fun as hell when there`s no drugs, violence or alcohol involved. I wish I could of gazed at the wide band but I was huggin tha steering wheel and trying to shove my foot through the floorboard and watching me catch then pass him. I made a big mistake of rollin and then mashing the peddle and he left me but BB Mopar pulled and passed him. As far as comparing timeslips, well he`s a street racer and doesn`t hit the tracks so no one knows what he`s got. My last slick deal fell through but and old street racer buddy of mine from the 90`s heard about the race and is donating a band new pair om 29x10.5 Mickeys so now it`s REALLY on...........

What are the specs on the Nova?

Most Chevy guys lie but from what I heard it`s a 390 something small block stroker w/who knows how much nos on ladder, slicks and pretty light.

On spray?

Did your cars weave all over and sound like Formula 1 cars at the top end?

I`ve got a few cop stories myself and before I shaved my head, I was pulled over constantly..............

Ya out by you and like I said, it was last minute and we did it at about 6:00 pm instead of later to keep the crowd down and the safety up. There`s a vid on facebook under "high desert outlaws" so maybe you can check it out. I left late and very easy as you`ll see and have slicks coming tomorrow and plan on ropeing a few more in hopefully.

Nice pass, you need to get it to leave harder. I don't think you have to worry in that spot in the video.lol There is nothing to crash in to.

My bad on leaving easy as I havn`t street raced in 10+ years and my slicks will be on this week ready for a few others who may or may not get me. Ya, nothing to hit out there except for maybe each other. I really wasn`t sand bagging although it looks like it and still don`t know what the car wants yet............

Pretty cool vid Dom, that street gets used quite a bit...I haven't raced down it myself in years, but been thinking about going out there for a pass or at least a launch to see what the 'Cuda will do for the sheer fun of it.
