Nice pictures I guess I need to hire you as my Photographer.

This is not my CNC chamber it was chapman I just reblended it to the valve job.

Peek flow was 379 intake 266 exhaust on 4.125" bore

the big valve hurt more on the. 4.125" bore (2.200" intake 50* seat)

I run the Chapman CNC W-9s and just with their ports
they flowed 365

Re: CNC W9s - 03/12/14 06:19 PM

Check your notes see what bore size they were flowed on.

This port will go 400 CFM with different valve valve job plus open chamber up.

As is they will support 800 plus HP.

I hate to say it but more to HP than flow numbers your chapman ports are way to small for drag race engine.

Brett just for curiosity what air-speeds are you seeing on the Chapmans compared to your program and at what runner cc?

My stuff is about 305-320 down center of port and 380-425 on short turn.

Never checked chapman but most of his w9 w8 stuff goes into choke at .650" lift and I have flowed w7,8,9 chapman stuff and all the round track stuff chokes right about same point.

Don't admit that over on Speedtalk or some of the gurus there will on you about how it "can't" exceed 350 over the ST.

Did you have to weld the ports near the pushrod pinch? Is that pretty typical?
