Nitrous fitting suggestions - 12/24/08 12:20 PM

currently without gas running 2 holley blue tops in paralel 1/2 inch line to holley regulator -6 to carb
Planning on 150 shot. Is a dedicated fuel line necessary or would single a line be adequate?

You might consider 1 big fuel system. 1 good pump with -10 line to a fuel log, and then a seperate regulator for the carb and the nitrous. You'll want to regulate the fuel for the nitrous seperately from the engine. Maybe 7.5 psi for the carb, and whatever your nitrous system needs. You'll be in the low 9's with a 150 shot, and that's enough HP to require a good fuel system, IMO.

Magnefuel, 300 or 500 pump. The 300 pump is suppose to be good to 900hp and the 500 is beter than that

I have the Magnafuel 500. I figure that will be one less weak link in the equation. It will not hurt to have a fuel system that is too big, just hurts your wallet. You do not need that 500 now, but you know how things go,,,, I'm just going to spray 150, well maybe I'll try 200, wow that was fun, maybe,,,, do it once if possible.
