You'll likely spend another 40-70 on a 1.25" bar

I spent more than that on mine... 1.250 ground bar
but 3 of use went into it together

Here's a pic of my fixture I use for straightening after welding. It's a I beam below which you can't really see.

Yeah I know I could have bought a cheap bar but I wanted
a hardened bar ground to the spec... it was ground
already when I bought it..it doesnt move like cold
and mine is 60" long.. so far I've never needed more
than 48"

I made mine to fit a piece of 1&5/8 moly roll cage tubing.
A ground bar is overkill to say the least.

Yeah it may be over kill but I know its straight...
plus it wasnt all that much price wise over cold stock...
I think it cost each of us $12 more than junk cold stock
which if you lean on it will move

I agree on flexing. Mine is not a ground bar but it is solid 1-1/2" round 4340 bar stock.

Mine is a 1 3/8 monel-? stainless steel propeller shaft out of a boat, very smooth and straight, made the other pieces on the lathe from bar stock. got nothing but labor in it

These guys will sell just the pucks you need for your particular rear end, you don't need to buy the whole kit, and its where I bought mine.
